Description: Prerequisites: ECON 201a and 202a. Meets for one-half semester and yields half-course credit. Focuses on the determinants of short-run economy-wide fluctuations in output, unemployment and inflation. Develops the time-series tools needed to summarize the data and provides an introduction to macroeconomic forecasting and empirical policy analysis. Usually offered every second year.
