Description: Prerequisite: ECON 302a. Examines factors that affect the organization of industrial activity. The course includes cross-country studies of firm and industry structure and performance and their technological and institutional determinants, innovative behavior under comparative market multinationals and their strategic behavior, and comparative perspectives on the economic role of the state. Usually offered every second year.
