Description: Prerequisites: ECON 83a or PSYC 51a, and ECON 80a or permission of the instructor. Introduces students to economic experiments. Uses laboratory experiments to examine how design of economic institutions affects the production and allocation of resources. Topics include markets, specialization, bargaining, auctions, property, public goods, and coordination. Usually offered every year.
