Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV)
FGV is Brazil's leading research and teaching university. Its original goal was to train people for the country's public- and private-sector management. Other courses began to be offered as the institution grew. It is considered as a top-5 "policymaker think-tank" worldwide. The graduate school enrolls 350 students in finance, management and economics. It also houses a major forecasting center and maintains close contacts with Sao Paolo's dynamic industries. Instruction is in Portuguese and English. American Economica rates FGV as the #1 business school in Brazil and #3 in Latin America.
