COST OF ATTENDING

The cost of attendance includes all necessary expenses for you to enroll in graduate school. These expenses for you to enroll in graduate school. These expenses include tuition and fees, housing and food costs, personal expenses, health insurance and books and supplies. The figures below are estimates for the 2012/13 academic year and need to be presented in order to receive your DS-2019.

Estimate of Costs per Semester 2012/13

Room and Board (based on on-campus housing costs- $7,000.00

Books and Supplies- $500.00

Medical Insurance- $1,670.00

Personal Expenditures (clothing, laundry etc.)- $1,000.00

Transportation (after arrival in the U.S.)- $700.00

SUB TOTAL (requried for DS-2019 form)- $10,870.00

TOTAL- $10,870.00

METHODS OF PAYMENT

  • Bank Check or Wire Transfer-

Brandeis University allows payments to be made by personal or bank check or wire transfer. For instruction on how use a wire transfer, please visit:

  • Credit Card-

Payment in full can also be made by credit card (MasterCard, Discover Card or American Express), or an additional fee, through Tutition Management Services. TMS can be reached at 888.216.4258 or www.afford.com. TMS charges a convenience fee for this service. 

  • Student Billing-

The Office of Student Financial Services, located in Usdan Student Center, room 120, is responsible for billing and the collection of Tutition and fees. The due date will vary each semester. Health insurance and orientation fees are billed in the Fall semester and are due in full by the fall due date. A late fee of 2%, or $100 (whichever is greater), will be assessed on balances unpaid as of the due date.
