Over the past two years, IBS MA, MBA and BA/MA students have been eligible to apply for the Hassenfeld Fellows Overseas Immersion Program. Past programs have focused on emerging markets in Istanbul, Turkey and Havana, Cuba.
(To read about the most recent trip to Istanbul, click HERE).
Hassenfeld Fellows take part in an intensive classroom and field experience. The in-country portion of the program lasts 8 days. This will give participants an introduction to the business and economy of a dynamic overseas market. Participants will receive 2 academic credits.
The majority of the expenses associated with the travel portion of the program will be covered by a generous donation from the Hassenfeld Foundation to Brandeis IBS for the purpose of this program. The cost to the student will be $500 plus some incidental costs during travel.
Please check back for updates on program opportunities for the 2012-2013 academic year, and email Chris Johnson (clj@brandeis.edu) with any questions.
