Attention first year MA, MBA and BA/MA students:

Last year, the first group of Hassenfeld Fellows studied about and traveled to Turkey as part of the first Hassenfeld Fellow Overseas Immersion Program. This month the second group of Fellows is focusing on and visiting Cuba. Applications are now being accepted for the third Hassenfeld opportunity. The destination will be Istanbul, Turkey. 

Hassenfeld Fellows take part in an intensive classroom and field experience. The in-country portion of the program lasts 8 days. This will give participants an introduction to the business and economy of a dynamic overseas market.

The program will begin the week following Commencement in May and will end in early June. Participants will receive 2 academic credits.

The majority of the expenses associated with the travel portion of the program will be covered by a generous donation from the Hassenfeld Foundation to Brandeis IBS for the purpose of this program. The cost to the student will be $500 plus some incidental costs during travel.
