The program ... enabled me to create strong personal connections – both with the students and the faculty at IBS. The most important thing for me was the strong feeling that I made the right decision and arrived at the right place, in which I would be able to achieve my goals.”

What is the aim of the Global Directions Program?

Global Directions is an intensive summer workshop for incoming students that immerses participants in American business and academic culture, helping them to excel in their studies and embark on the all-important job search.

What will I do during the Global Directions Program?

You will take part in sessions on adapting to the American classroom and understanding American business expectations. You will have the opportunity to work with outstanding faculty learning how to analyze business cases.  You will get a head start in preparing to look for a job through resume development and other Career Services tools. And you will be able to network with your fellow students and IBS faculty and staff.  As a special added benefit, you will also have the chance to explore and enjoy Boston and, if you need it, receive assistance in finding housing.

Who should apply?

All incoming students are encouraged to consider this valuable program which gives participants a head start to participate fully in the academic life of the school, and to feel at home in the United States.

There is a fee of $500 which covers all tuition, materials and many meals. Interested students should apply as soon as possible (preferably by June 30th).

How do I sign up?
