Best place to explore in the Boston/Cambridge/Waltham area:
Some of my favorite places in Boston include the North End, Back Bay and the Harborwalk. Boston is an easily walkable city with many cultural events and institutions. Check out some live local music at Club Passim in Harvard Square.
Best advice for First Year students?
In a practical sense, collaboration, time management and consistent effort are key aspects of success. From an intellectual development point of view, I'd heed words from Bertrand Russell, who wrote "Not to be absolutely certain is, I think, one of the essential things in rationality". Keep exploring!
