Sara Johnson is a senior Research Director of Global Economics with IHS Global Insight. In this role, she helps clients assess worldwide business and financial opportunities and risks. Ms. Johnson co-authors the Global Executive Summary, manages the Executive Strategy Council and presents the IHS economic outlook to international conferences. She was previously the North American Research Director and Chief Regional Economist with Standard & Poor's DRI, a predecessor of IHS Global Insight.
Ms. Johnson holds a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Wellesley College and an MA in Economics from Harvard University with concentrations in Finance and Macroeconomic theory.
Ms. Johnson is a director of the NABE Foundation and a former Director of the National Association for Business Economics. She is a member of the Boston Economics Club and American Economic Association.

Stuart P. M. Mackintosh is the director of the Group of Thirty. He oversees all aspects of the Group of Thirty's annual work program, project development, event planning and annual fundraising.
Previously, Mr. Mackintosh was a Washington-based economist and Country Risk Manager for Mitsubishi International Corporation. In that role, he initiated a weekly U.S. economic forecast and commentary for senior executives. Before re-locating to the U.S., Mr. Mackintosh was Chief of Staff and principal speech for leading politicians in the European Parliament.
Mr. Mackintosh sits on the board of the National Association for Business Economics. In addition, he serves on the boards of Children of Vietnam and Spooky Action Theatre. Mr. Mackintosh has a BA from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne from the University of Edinburgh.

Olaf Unteroberdoerster, MS '98, PhD '98 is the Deputy Chief of the IMF's Regional Studies Division for the Asia Pacific Region. His research interests include international trade, financial integration and liberalization, and economic rebalancing. Dr. Unteroberdoerster is currently also IMF Mission Chief for Cambodia, and between 2007 and 2009 was the IMF's Resident Representative in Hong Kong SAR. Before joining the Fund in 1998, Dr. Unteroberdoerster was a visiting researcher at Hitotsubashi University and the United Nations University, both in Tokyo, Japan.
Dr. Unteroberdoerster studied business administration and economics in Germany, France, Japan and the United States. He holds an MS and a PhD in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School.

Jeffrey Fuhrer is the Executive Vice President and Senior Policy Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and is responsible for the Bank's regional and community outreach functions. He is an associate economist of the Federal Open Market Committee, and regularly attends this key U.S. policymaking meeting with the Bank's president.
Fuhrer began his career at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, initially as a research assistant. After earning his doctorate, he returned in 1985 as a senior economist. He has been active in economic research for more than two decades, and has served as an associate editor for the American Economic Review. Fuhrer has published numerous scholarly papers on the interactions among monetary policy, inflation, consumer spending and asset prices. Fuhrer earned a B.A. in economics with highest honors from Princeton University and was ranked first in the university's economics department in 1979. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Harvard University.
