Celebrate Africa 2012:

This year's Celebrate Africa was a two-day showcase that combined a panel of experts who spoke about business and development in Africa, and the annual cultural celebration, complete with traditional music, dancing, fashion and food.

The panel speakers included: Joyce Sackey, MD, Dean of Multicultural Affairs & Global Health at Tufts School of Medicine; Ndubuisi Ekekwe, PhD, Dept. of Engineering & Nanotechnology at Johns Hopkins and Founder of the African Institute of Technology; and Rajesh Sampath, Assistant Professor at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. The event was moderated by Brandeis IBS Senior Lecturer John Ballantine.

The Friday cultural celebration was hosted by African Business Club students Abiola Adeyemi MA '13 and Ali Ouedraogo MA '13.
