Developing your Professional and Leisure Interests at IBS
IBS has a number of clubs and associations. Please contact the people named below to find out more about them.
If you want to start a club of your own, read these tips on how to begin.
International Business School Student Association
The International Business School Student Association is the formal liaison between IBS students, faculty, and staff. Each year, two students are chosen to be co-presidents by democratic election. Entirely run by students, the mission of the Association is to fulfill students' academic and social needs.
All IBS students are encouraged to participate in the Association to share knowledge, learn other cultures, and make friends. The ultimate goal of the Association is to promote change, provide students with the tools necessary for personal and professional growth, and to understand and help solve students concerns.

More Than Profit: Brandeis Students for Social Entrepreneurship
Brandeis Students for Social Entrepreneurship (BSSE), a Brandeis-wide club, holds a dual mission. First, it seeks to educate Brandeis Heller School for Social Policy and Management students, Brandeis International Business School students, and the Brandeis and Boston community about the Social Entrepreneurship and Venture Philanthropy industries. BSSE hosts events open to the public with speakers in the social entrepreneurship industry and trips to local social enterprises to learn various business models.
Second, the club provides hands-on experience for student club members that form working groups designing and writing business plans for real-life and hypothetical social enterprises. These hybrid working groups of business and non-profit-trained students provide the ultimate synergy critical to designing the social and business aspects of social enterprises.
