IBS Alumni from the New York area joined current IBS students in New York City in January to celebrate our AACSB accreditation with Dean Magid. The Dean also met with alums in Paris in April.
Following last year's successful visit to Turkey, IBS MSF students will visit Poland for a study abroad program this summer.
Prime Minister of Iceland visits IBS
Among the guests at IBS this Spring was Prime Minister of Iceland, Geir Haarde '73. Over 30 other CEOs, business leaders and entrepreneurs visited the School to share their thoughts and engage with students.
On February 29, the U.S. Monetary Policy Forum, an annual conference that brings together academics, market economists and Federal Reserve policymakers to discuss U.S. monetary policy, met in New York City. The conference is sponsored by the Rosenberg Institute of Global Finance at IBS and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Jon Luther received the Asper Center Award for Global Entrepreneurship for his transformational leadership on April 30th. Students were treated to a reception with Dunkin' Donuts and Coffee after his remarks.
MBA Candidate Amit Pinjani was selected by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ) as one of Boston's MBA All-Stars. Pinjani is a Fulbright scholar who wants to bring oil awareness back to Pakistan.
The keynote address at this year's Business, Ethics & Society Week was given by Stanley Litow, IBM's Vice President for Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs and President of the IBM International Foundation.
Arthur Goldstein, Chairman and CEO Emeritus of Ionics, suggested to 192 IBS graduates that they are "in a superb position to build the bridge to a socially responsible future and to act with a global business perspective."
