Fees, Accommodations, Applying to the 2006 Programs

   
    Requirements for Admission
Participants generally hold an MA degree or its equivalent in economics or a related discipline. Experience in economic policy analysis at the mid-career level may be an adequate substitute. Participants should have basic computer spreadsheet skills and be able to work effectively in English.

Location & Accommodations
Known for its leading edge, high-tech facilities and internationally recognized programs, Brandeis University is a perfect setting for the exchange of ideas and networking.

While most sessions will take place this year at Brandeis' recently built Lemberg Center, visits to major financial and academic institutions are planned. In the past, classes have been held at the Boston Federal Reserve, State Street Corporation, a leader in the investment management and investment services industry, and Harvard University.

Accommodations will be provided in spacious suites in a comfortable local hotel with high-speed, wireless computer connections.

Registration and Fees
Registration for each full two-week program, including tuition, accommodations for 13 nights, all course materials, use of laptop computers, several group meals, organized recreation activities, use of campus athletic and library facilities and temporary health insurance, is $7,950.

The cost for the full Brandeis 2006 Economic Policy Series, including both the Macroeconomics and "Integrating Into the Global Marketplace" Programs, is $14,000 per person (a savings of nearly $2,000).

Participants must pay for their own travel to and from Boston, most dinners and normal incidental expenses such as taxi fares, laundry, telephones calls, and the cost of shipping materials home.

Applications are due by May 31, 2006.

Early Bird & Group Discounts
A significant discount of $500 off the regular registration fee is available for individuals and groups applying and paying in full by May 15, 2006. Multiple attendees from the same organization will be eligible for a discount of 10% off their total fee. One discount is allowed per participant.

To qualify for the discounts, applications must be received along with full payment by May 15, 2006.

Applications
Interested candidates should complete the Program Application no later than May 31, 2006 for each program since enrollment is limited and visa approvals can take considerable time.
