Profile

Laarni Bulan joined the IBS faculty in Fall 2001. She received her Ph.D. from Columbia University. She is a former faculty member of the Mathematics Department at the University of the Philippines. Her research examines the connections between the firm life cycle, risk and firm investment and financing decisions. More recent work analyzes the impact of agency conflicts on firm performance, innovation and dividend policy. She teaches courses in corporate finance.
