The Latin America Initiative is focused on fostering a well-networked Latin community among our students, faculty and alumnae. Our goal is to ensure that members of the Brandeis IBS community are exposed to valuable career opportunities and business networking options in Latin American.

Student Engagement through Extracurricular Activities

On-campus student organizations offer great social and professional networking opportunities for students:

• Latin Club
• Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting [LINK]

Among the popular events hosted by these organizations is “La Latinada,” cultural celebration hosted by the Latin Club.

ALPFA also hosts several professional events on campus and around the Boston area; the result of which is improved graduate employment statistics around the Latin American region.
