Students, faculty and staff are beginning to appreciate the elegant and highly functional new building, which roughly doubles IBSs facilities.

The Center, which is connected seamlessly at each of its three levels to the existing Sachar International Center, is home to new classrooms, conference areas and offices. A cafe; opened in the spring semester in the World Court - a dramatic space at the heart of the building, lit from floor to ceiling by windows overlooking wetlands and a wooded hillside.

Lembergs First Major Event
The first major public event in the building was a conference on 13 and 14 November entitled Winning Back the World: Americas New Challenges in the Global Economy;, at which the keynote speaker was Douglas Daft, the Chairman and CEO of Coca Cola. The conference made full use of the striking Thomas H. Lee Lecture Hall and the two new classrooms in the building.
