Ian Marcus is Chairman of the European Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Credit Suisse in London. He has been in the banking industry for 28 years always focusing on the real estate industry.
Ian has been actively involved with the recent UK REIT Initiative as one of the six industry representatives who have led the discussions with ministers, government officials and industry representatives.
Ian is a Past Chairman of the Investment Property Forum, Immediate Past President of the British Property Federation, and Chairman of the Bank of England Property Forum. He is a member of the University of Cambridge, Department of Land Economy Advisory Group and an Eminent Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is also Chairman of HRH Prince of Wales’s Charity, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust.
