has consulted with The Israeli Ministry of Defense, Israel Defense Forces
(IDF), Israel Electric Co., The Ministry of National Infrastructures (
Israel ), and several firms in Israel and abroad. Prof. Tishler holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of
Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Economics and Statistics from the Hebrew
University, Israel. His main research topics are focused on applied microeconomics, models of
research and development, multivariate statistics, energy economics and
defense related issues. His articles were published in leading journals such
as The Journal of Econometrics, Research Policy, Energy Journal, Energy
Economics, Defence and Peace Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics
and more. Prior to taking up his present position as Dean of the Faculty of
Management, he served as the head of the Economics-Management department,
the director of the Israel Institute of Business Research, the academic
director of Lahav - the Top Executive Program, the academic director of the
Executive MBA program and the Kellogg-Recanati international MBA Program.
Currently he is the director of The Institute of Technology and Society, and
The Eli Hurvitz Institute of Strategic Management. |
