Place and Time: Thursday, March 19, 7-9 pm in the Rappaporte Treasure Hall
The Brandeis Labor Coalition will be hosting a forum of economic perspectives on international labor practices. The goal of this forum is to hold an open discussion between students and faculty regarding the place of corporate responsibility in economic growth. Speakers will include Brandeis' economics department chair Rachel McCulloch, International Business School's Michael Appell, and University of Massachusetts, Amherst Professor Jerry Friedman. Proffesor John Ballantine Jr. from the International business school will moderate the event. Come out and hear some diverse scholarly opinions on the ethical and economic ramifications of globalization on workers and get your questions answered! Refreshments will be served following the forum. |
