Adam Katz '98 The New Normal of Wall Street

Adam H. Katz. '98, Director of Business Development and Investment Solutions at Merrill Lynch & Company, Inc. will be speaking in Lee Hall on Thursday, November 19th at 2:15 to 3:00 in Lee Hall.  At 3:00, Mr. Katz will be in the Alumni Commons Room to talk further with interested students and to answer questions.  Adam will speak about his career, beginning with Merrill Lynch through the firms's Executive Management Training Program after graduating from Brandeis University with a BA in Psychology.

Adam spent several years within the Private Banking and Investment Group ($10million+ channel) of Merrill Lynch. His most recent role in this group was Head of Sales and Business Development. Within this role, his responsibilities included coordination and delivery of UHNW-targeted solutions across alternative investments, traditional investments, liquidity management and wealth transfer/structuring. Adam gained his first 7 years of experience at Merrill Lynch within the Managed Solutions Group (MSG), where his responsibilities encompassed product development, product management, sales and marketing of the ultra-high-net-worth (SPA®) and institutional (Consulting Services) investment management consulting business.

Adam Katz has earned an Executive M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business and received his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation, Investment Strategist Certificate (ISC), and Alternative Investment Certificate (AIC) from the Investment Management Consultant Association (IMCA).
