Alexis Olans, Program Manager of "Better Place"--the environmental business arm of Adidas--will speak about how she created her own dream job opportunity at a top company in a foreign country. She will also speak about a career in environmental business. A winner of the prestigious professional rotational program, the Bosch Fellowship, Olans will provide advice for those seeking to apply for the Bosch Fellowship.
Ms. Olans is an expert at networking, creating career opportunities, and launching into the emerging environmental business field and her 1-hour presentation will cover each of these points with a 30-minute Question & Answer session following her talk.

Alexis Olans, Program Manager of "Better Place"- the environmental business arm of ADIDAS
Alexis Olans is traveling from Adidas Headquarters in Germany to speak at Brandeis. She was one of the 20 people selected in the US for the Bosch Fellowship to work on sustainable business development and was placed in a professional rotational program in Germany consulting for companies including IDEO. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a dual degree MS in Environmental Science and MBA from the Ross School of Business. During her graduate school career, Olans interned in Marketing and Communications at Proctor & Gamble (on their PUR Corporate Social Responsibility project), as a Clean Tech Associate at Shephard Advisors (a management consulting firm for environmental companies), and as a Marketing Consultant at Transfair USA (fair trade). Ms. Olans is a returned Peace Corps volunteer and Georgetown School of Foreign Service alumna.
