David Spector isthe Credit Review Executive withinGlobal Risk Managementat Bank of America. He and his team are responsible for examining and monitoring the Consumer and Commercial credit portfolios, as well as identifying their existing and emerging risks.

Spector has been employed by Bank of America and legacy institutions for 24 years. Most recently, he served as the Senior Risk executive for General Industries East within Global Banking, responsible for the approval and oversight of credit transactions for large clients located in the 22 eastern states, eastern Canada and Latin America. Prior to this role, Spector served as the Risk Management executive for the Commercial Banking Northeast Region and for the Mid-Cap Corporate Banking unit.

Before the merger of Bank of America and FleetBoston in 2004, Spector held several leadership roles at FleetBoston and BankBoston, including senior credit officer for the Media, Sports Finance and Film Finance groups, regional credit officer in Latin America (based in Argentina) and Corporate Banking credit officer at BankBoston Brazil. He also served middle market clients in New England as a client manager.

Spector graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Vermont.

Spector lives in greater Bostonwith his wife and two daughters.
