Before joining the Academic Initiative, Robert was an Acquisition Enablement Manager, in IBM Software Group Enablement, as a worldwide focal point for training IBM teams on IBM software's acquisition strategy & recent acquisitions. Prior to his role as Acquisition Enablement Manager, he was a Worldwide Sales Leader responsible for driving key IBM growth strategies and was frequently leveraged to articulate the value of IBM software to global customers. Robert was also an IT Specialist and Team Leader in Worldwide Technical Sales for several years, leading a team responsible for evangelizing IBM software strategies. This is Robert's 14th year with IBM and has been in software industry for 18 years. He lives in the Boston area with is wife and three children. |
