Fidelity Investments' Stuart Grief, Executive Vice President, Human Resources at IBS

Stuart Grief, Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Fidelity Investments will give a talk:
"Topics in Corporate Strategy - A View from the Field".
Fidelity is the No. 1 provider of workplace retirement savings plans, the largest mutual fund supermarket, a leading online brokerage firm and one of the largest providers of custody and clearing services to financial professionals. Mr. Grief is a member of the Fidelity Executive Committee and reports directly to company president, Rodger Lawson.

Previously with Fidelity, Mr. Grief acted as executive vice president, responsible for strategy, finance, and planning, for Fidelity Shared Services beginning in October 2008. In his role, he led several key functional areas: he worked with Fidelity senior leadership to develop the overall strategic direction for Fidelity's Shared Services organization; established priorities for the Fidelity Consulting Group, which supports strategy development across Fidelity; supervised the integration of financial and strategic planning, supported by the Shared Services CFO; and oversaw the design, development and implementation of multi-year strategic plans. Additionally, Mr. Grief was responsible for Fidelity Real Estate Company, where he ensured the firm's real estate strategy was meeting firm-wide goals, as well as the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology.

From 1990 to 2004, Mr. Grief was a partner and managing director for The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. where he led client relationships in industrial goods, technology, and financial services. He worked regularly with the leadership teams of Fortune 100 companies in a number of industries to address issues related to portfolio strategy, operations, corporate development and finance, and business strategy.
