Robert J. Lee, Principal, specializes in the economics of corporate acquisitions in the energy sector. Mr. Lee has extensive experience working with clients’ management teams on strategic acquisition issues, including screening and targeting potential acquisition candidates, and examining and evaluating each candidate based on potential strategic benefits, relationships with regulators, operating efficiency, and price consolidations.

As an associate with Putnam, Hayes and Bartlett, Mr. Lee served as the lead analyst on a commercial damages claim presented before an international arbitration panel; supported regulatory filings associated with the power-sector deregulation in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio; participated in the valuation of fossil and nuclear generating stations; advised a New England municipality during settlement talks presented before the FERC Administrative Law Judge; and evaluated the impact of proposed environmental restrictions on Midwestern power plant emissions.
