The Brandeis NABE board cordially invites you and members of your organization to our upcoming Economic Careers in Finance and Industry speaker panel on April 27th, 2012 from 12:30-2 p.m. in Lee Hall. A food and networking reception will follow at the World Court from 2-3:30 p.m. We will also recognize your organization as being present at the event.
Student career and professional development is one of our organization’s goals, so this event will feature speakers, each of whom brings a unique experience of their industry, and is eager to advise students on how to best approach a career in the field.
Lisa Emsbo-Mattingly- Director of Research, Global Asset Allocation at Fidelity Investments, Emsbo-Mattingly heads the asset allocation process through a research team and also assists analysts in portfolio management.
Leslie Levesque- A senior economist in the U.S. and Global Consumer Markets group at IHS Global Insight, she is responsible for analysis and forecast of US retail sales segments and socio-economic concepts for over 95 countries. Prior to IHS Global Insight, Levesque worked in private equity at Bain Capital in Boston.
David Katsnelson- Senior Economist, RISI, is responsible for the collecting, analyzing, forecasting, and communicating macroeconomic data and its relevance to clients throughout the forest product industry.
Not on the panel, but as a guest and for the networking, a young professional Ms. Leah Jack will also attend our event. She is an Operations Program Analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co., and is eager to meet students and share advice on how to be hired at J.P. Morgan.
