GSIEF World Financial Centers Workshop to be held in London in July

Over the past three years GSIEF has held its annual week-long World Financial Centers workshop in Paris, Frankfurt and Tokyo. This year it moves to London.

Intended for graduate students, professionals and academics with a financial background, the course will be held at the Management School at Imperial College in London, one of the UK's top business schools.

The seminar will focus on financial regulation, assessing the UK and Europe's regulatory systems against the background of Enron's collapse. Other topical subjects, including the introduction of the Euro, will also be covered. Field trips to important institutions and companies in London's financial heartland will round out the attendees' insight into one of the world's most vibrant economic hubs.

The dates of the seminar are 7th to 13th July. Further details may be found at http://www.brandeis.edu/global/exec/london2002.html.

Anyone with a suitable background in finance is invited to apply to attend. Contact Simon Sherrington on 781-736-2283 or ssherrington@brandeis.edu for more information.
