Visit of the President of the Czech Republic

President of the Czech Republic visits Brandeis

A prominent economist and outspoken leader of the "new Europe," President Václav Klaus has been in the top ranks of the Czech leadership since the Velvet Revolution.

On the morning of September 23, President Klaus presented the Rosenberg Institute Distinguished Lecture in the Shapiro Campus Center Theater, on the topic: "Why Europe Must Reject Centralization." Click here to read a transcript of his lecture.

Following the lecture, the Brandeis International Business School hosted a jazz reception in the World Court of the Lemberg Academic Center, in honor of his visit.
