About the Roundtable
Globalization is creating stiff competition for skilled jobs across almost every industry. The embedding of technology into all aspects of business is driving new opportunities and innovation, and for many, opening new doors to money, power and success. From Calcutta to China to College Station, employers are uncovering new sources of talent across the globe to fill frontline positions within their companies.

In this competitive marketplace, how can students leverage their backgrounds and interests to land the most coveted jobs? What skills will they need to differentiate themselves? How can lessons learned in the classroom be applied to global business environments? What types of jobs and careers hold the most promise over the next decade?

These are some of the questions that IBM and its industry partners will answer during a unique on campus roundtable and Q&A. Panelists will discuss the importance of building the right skills to succeed in today's marketplace. Whether you are interested in broadening your career horizons across multi-national borders, or just down the street, please joins us at this special event next week to understand the impact of globalization on your future, and your future career. An IBM recruiter will also be on campus to make personal connections and answer questions following the event.
