Brandeis IBS Hosts Free Trade Conference
About the Conference
Brandeis International Business School (IBS) is hosting a conference to celebrate IBS Professor Rachel McCulloch. The conference, entitled "Is Free Trade Still Optimal in the 21st Century?" is being organized by Professor Chad P. Bown and is taking place on Friday, June 15th at IBS. Topics to be covered include trade, international economic policy and globalization.
The conference will also feature a distinguished luncheon panel discussion regarding the "State of the Global Economy and Current International Economic Policy". Sharing remarks in the lunch discussion will be Anne Krueger from Johns Hopkins University/SAIS, Michael Mussa from the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics and Janet Yellen, the President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
The conference is being sponsored by Darden Restaurants, the Schulhof Family Foundation and the Rosenberg Institute of Global Finance at IBS.
