IBS Dean Joins Brandeis in the Berkshires for Talk on State of the Economy

Are the Obama stimulus policies effective? Is enough being done to overcome the economic recession? Bruce R. Magid, dean of Brandeis International Business School, has been helping the public make sense of the ongoing economic crisis in a series of forums being given across the country.
On August 2, Magid will be lecturing on the “State of the Economy” as part of the 8th Annual Brandeis in the Berkshires Lecture Series in Lenox, Massachusetts. Magid’s co-lecturer that day will be Brandeis Heller School Dean Lisa Lynch.
Every year, Brandeis sends some of its expert faculty to the pastoral setting of the Berkshires for a series of institutes and lectures. This summer, other lecture topics include American politics, Israel and Jewish life, and President Obama and the media.
