On Aug. 10th, IBS Dean Bruce Magid will join panelists from Harvard, Northeastern and Florida International University for a panel discussion on ‘The Role of Leading Universities in Forming the Next Generation of Latino Professionals’.
The panel will be part of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) National Convention’s Scholarship Luncheon in Boston. It will examine a ‘comparative effectiveness’ approach of different Higher Education institutions with regards to recruiting, curriculum design, mentoring, and career-placement.
The 37th ALPFA National Convention, held from Aug. 9 – 12, will bring professionals and students from around the country to learn, network and succeed with workshops, receptions, panel discussions, and a Career Fair. Brandeis University has the largest ALPFA student members in Boston.
