Peter Petri
Founding Dean of the International Business School and the Carl J. Shapiro Professor of International Finance |
In 2006, the Peter Petri Global Fellowship was established to honor Brandeis International Business School’s founding Dean, Peter Petri. Hundreds of alumni have stepped forward to establish the Peter Petri Global Fellowship to provide financial assistance to IBS students throughout the world. As of today, over 250 people have contributed to the Fund, which has grown to over $1.6 million.
In keeping with the global focus of the school, the fellowship is awarded each year to three IBS students from three different continents. The students must display financial need and have overcome difficult challenges in their studies and their lives. They must also be committed to principled leadership, and be likely to have their lives changed by their Brandeis education.
