Business & Economics LabIBS is home to the Brandeis University Business and Economics Lab, often referred to as the "Bloomberg Lab". This lab is located on the bottom level of Lemberg Academic Center by the rear entrance and is designed to support the intense data needs of our students and faculty.
The Business and Economics Lab contains 11 computers with Quad-Core 64-Bit Processors, 16GB of Memory, 64-Bit Windows 7 and Dual Monitor Support. In addition, the instructor terminal ("Brandeis 11") at the front of the room is equipped with a large television screen for training, presentations and access to news and Bloomberg TV. Each computer has a standard suite of statistical tools for students and researchers to obtain and analyze data. Our resources that have a single access point are placed on Brandeis11 at the front of the room to facilitate demonstrations on the large screen. We offer the following resources in the Lab:

The Bloomberg Lab is for use of Members of the Brandeis University Community and is often used by Faculty in their coursework and classroom learning. Due to the use by Faculty for instructional purposes, the Business and Economics Lab may not always be available.
