The Help Desk at the Brandeis International Business School provides a number of technology related services for members of the IBS community. Whether, Students, Faculty, Staff, or Visitors to IBS, the Help Desk at the IBS Technology Office can provide technology support across various platforms and systems.
The Help Desk at the IBS Technology Department specializes in support for Desktop & Laptop Computers, Classroom & Meeting Room Systems, Student Computer Cluster Systems (including printing), and Bloomberg Terminal Computer Systems. Our Full-Time Staff & Student Employees at IBS Technology & the IBS Help Desk come from diverse backgrounds in Help Desk Technologies including but not limited to:
- Operating System Support (Microsoft Windows, Apple OSX)
- Software Support (Installations, Removal, Basic Use Support)
- Virus & Mal/Spyware Removal
- System Backups
- Training & Support (Classroom/Meeting Room Technology & Peripherals)
- Best Practices in General Computer Use
The IBS Help Desk is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00AM-8:00PM and Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM during normal University hours. Hours of operation may vary during Brandeis sanctioned breaks, holidays, and summer schedules.
