Brandeis IBS is diverse to its core. With more than 400 students from more than 60 countries, there are many different experiences, backgrounds and perspectives on campus every day. By teaching rigorous business, finance and economics, connecting students to best practices and immersing them in international experiences, Brandeis IBS prepares students from around the globe to become principled professionals in companies and public institutions worldwide.
Faculty & Research
The faculty at Brandeis IBS is also diverse. Many are from outside the US and all have cross-cultural academic teaching and research experience. The school has two research institutes dedicated to the study of global business: the Rosenberg Institute of Global Business, which addresses international finance, and the Asia-Pacific Center for Economics and Business, which conducts research, teaching and outreach on the Asia Pacific region.
Brandeis IBS has a number of clubs and associations that promote diversity and inclusion among the many groups on campus. Every year, our students showcase the vibrant cultural diversity by hosting events such as Lunar New Year, Diwali, Celebrate Africa and La Latinada. Each event brings students from all corners of our school to put on performances, fashion shows, and traditional ceremonies to celebrate the different heritages at Brandeis IBS.
Student organizations host a number of the distinguished foreign speakers each academic year. China's Vice Minister of Commerce Fu Ziying and the Honduran President Porfirio Lobo (left) have both visited recently.
