Music Unites US Regional Spotlight

As part of the existing MusicUnitesUS Intercultural Residency program, a new “Spotlight” series was introduced that focuses on the experiences of returned study abroad students in that Residency featured country.

During the Intercultural Residency: Chinese Modulations, March 27-29, there was a photography exhibit: Spotlight on China, with digital photos taken by current Brandeis students who have traveled in China. The exhibit (March 24-April 7) was located in the lobby of Slosberg Music Center with a reception and presentation by the students on Friday, March 28th.

During the next Intercultural Residency: Passageways of the Soul (October 13-27), there was a photography exhibit: Spotlight on South Asia, featuring student photos from India, linking with the residency of Indian artist Shubha Mudgal.
