Welcome to Graduate Professional Studies!
Brandeis University’s Division of Graduate Professional Studies provides a Brandeis University academic experience to working professionals, with eight part-time applied master’s programs available online.

Our programs are geared for professionals looking to advance in their fields and keep up-to-date on the latest practices. We strive to teach techniques that our students can apply immediately in their places of work. Our instructors bring their applied experiences into the online classrooms, and our professional advisory boards help ensure that our courses and programs remain current and relevant.
Our offerings are designed to be accessible to adults tasked with balancing personal, professional, and academic responsibilities.
- Students may take up to two courses before applying for admission to a program.
- Courses are structured into three 10-week terms that begin in September, January, and May.
- We have rolling admissions, reviewing applications for admission as they are received.
- We provide flexible pacing options, with the ability for students to complete the degree in time frames ranging from 5 to 15 terms (1.7 to 5 years).
- While they follow a defined pace from week to week, our courses have no set day or time for interaction, allowing students to perform coursework at a time and place that works best for them.
