Roy Wattanasin

Roy Wattanasin is a healthcare information security practitioner working in the healthcare industry. He is a member of multiple computer security groups in the Boston area. He spends most of his time on leading and developing an organization's information security program and working on compliance with regulations, performing penetration tests, evaluating architecture, incident response, finding vulnerabilities and working on other projects. In his spare time, Roy also enjoys speaking at conferences around the country and developing partnerships. He is also currently the lead organizer for Security BSides Boston 2013 (www.bsidesboston.com)

Roy is an adjunct faculty member in the Health and Medical Informatics and Information Security programs at Brandeis University.

He is currently doing research on mobile devices and healthcare security.
