Special Offerings

Graduate Professional Studies periodically introduces special offerings that supplement our master's programs. For example, we have identified clusters of elective courses, called tracks, that may serve as guidelines for students interested in particular focus areas. We also offer non-credit courses from time to time, depending on the professional needs and interests expressed by our students.

This page spotlights the currently available Special Offerings. Please contact us for more information.

Virtual Management Tracks in GPS Programs

Virtual Management skills are becoming an integral part of many professional positions as more management and collaboration activities occur virtually, whether one’s colleagues are in the same building or on the other side of the world. Meetings are increasingly held online or via other communication tools of growing complexity. Teams with important missions routinely do business virtually, and often the members of corporate management teams represent very diverse cultural, business and working groups and values.

We have identified Virtual Management Tracks within three of our master’s programs. The Tracks represent groups of Virtual Management courses that may be applied as electives to the master’s degree, illustrating a focused area of study within the elective offerings. Students should work with their Student Advisor to map out individualized program course selections based on their areas of interest. See the Comprehensive Course List for more details on specific courses.
