Proteomics: Analytical and Computational Principles
Alexander Buko, PhD, is the Director of Analytical Biochemistry and Proteomics at Biogen Idec in Cambridge, MA. He spent eighteen years at Abbott Labs in Chicago before moving to the biotech industry. He received a PhD from the University of Virginia in 1980 and then did a four-year postdoctorate at the National Institutes of Health Bureau of Biologics. His current interests focus on the discovery and development of neurological protein pharmacodynamic biomarkers.
