SAGE Help
I'm having trouble logging into SAGE.
If you are a returning student, and you are attempting to log in with your UNet username and password, it may be that your UNet password has expired. Visit the UNet Account Tools page and change your password. Wait five to 10 minutes, then try to log in again.
If you are a new student and are attempting to log in with a temporary username, it may be that the temporary username has expired. Please contact the GPS office, and we can provide you with a new password.
I'm logged in to SAGE, but I can't seem to access the Add Classes section. The term that I want is not available, and I am getting an error that reads, "You do not have a valid enrollment period at this time."
This may be because you did not Term Activate yourself.
All GPS students should select the "Enroll: Graduate Professional Studies" option the first time they add classes every term. This is called Term Activation, and it tells SAGE that you want to enroll in classes for that particular term.
If you do not Term Activate prior to attempting to add classes, SAGE will not allow you to view the available courses for that term. However, if you have already Term Activated yourself for the term, and you wish to add additional classes or swap classes, you can go directly to the Add, Drop, Swap Classes page.
The course that I want to enroll in is currently closed. Can I add myself to the waitlist?
Yes. If you attempt to enroll in a course that is full, SAGE will not allow it, but it will prompt you to indicate whether or not you want to be placed on the waitlist. Follow the registration steps as outlined on the New Students page to add yourself to the waitlist.
You will see that you have been placed on the waitlist for a particular course if you see the yellow triangle icon next to the course in your course schedule page. If a seat opens up in this course, GPS staff will contact individuals on the waitlist to offer seats, in the order in which registrations were processed.
I'm having trouble using SAGE. Is there any other way I can register for my classes?
While SAGE is our preferred method for registration, as it is fast, easy to use and secure, some people may experience difficulties with the system.
If you have followed these steps and are unable to use SAGE, you are welcome to register in person, by mail, or fax, following the associated Registration Instructions.
