Add/Drop
During the Registration Period
Students can add, drop or swap course enrollments directly in SAGE throughout the Registration Period.
During the Late Registration Period
The five business days (Monday through Friday) prior to the start of the term are designated as the Late Registration Period.
During this time, students can no longer make changes to their enrollment using SAGE. Instead, students must complete a Course Registration Form if they wish to add courses.
After the Late Registration Period
Once the Late Registration period is up, we will no longer accept enrollments for that term, as classes will have begun. To drop a course after the Late Registration Period, students must submit a Drop Form.
Failure to attend class does not constitute a formal course withdrawal. Students who do not formally withdraw from their courses may receive a failing grade for the course.
Students can drop a course through the ninth class meeting, or the ninth week of a DL course, with no academic penalty. The course will be removed from the student's transcript. However, dropped courses after the start of the term are subject to our Refund Schedule.
