The Brandeis community came together from April 14-17 during the annual Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts under the famous mantra of its namesake, who said, “It is the artists of the world, the feelers and the thinkers, who will ultimately save us, who can articulate, educate, defy, insist, sing and shout the big dreams.”

Dance, music and theater performances throughout the weekend lived up to the words Bernstein once uttered. Artwork created for the festival appeared in public spaces, while the campus also welcomed guest artists from around the country and around the world.
