The internship has been a rare and special opportunity
to be surrounded by world class scholars and professionals,
not to mention five brilliant and enthusiastic interns.
The HBI offered us a "room of our own," a
space to think about and grapple with some of your major
questions as young Jewish women. |

Emily Rose Antflick
McGill University
It was an honour and a pleasure to work alongside the
prestigious scholars at the HBI. I also enjoyed meeting
the other Lily Safra Interns, a diverse group of intelligent
and passionate young women, many of whom have become
more than just co-workers. |

Belle Woskow
UC Santa Cruz
This summer I thoroughly enjoyed thought provoking conversation
and the chance to learn from Jewish women of various
ages. Every day I wake up with new questions, and I
am confident that the relationships I have formed will
continue to provide a source of inspiration. |
