News

News coverage of the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute comes with each fresh, innovative program and launch event we host and every new scholarly text and artistic work we create. Featured in both popular Jewish—The Forward, The Jewish Advocate, and Lilith—and mainstream—The Boston Globe, Women’s E-News, The New England Women’s Times—publications, the HBI’s works have always enjoyed a warm reception by the press, from the popular Jewish + Female = Athlete project and The JGirl’s Guide to insightful academic works like Sylvia Fishman’s Double or Nothing. Most recently, Miriam Sivan's work, City of Refuge, supported by a research grant from th HBI, has received much press for its stage-adaptation, set to begin in 2007.

We’ve put up a few of the most recent sightings of the HBI in the news, but we encourage you to search around the internet for news of further HBI happenings in your community.  Especially if an HBI-related program is taking place in your area, contact us for further assistance with local-press promotion and expansion of the coverage of your organization’s event.
