How much sleep do I need?

Americans sleep 7 hours per night on average, when they should be getting 8.  By missing 1 hour of sleep a night one immediately see the effects of sleep deprivation that can cause short and long term health problems.

Sleep affects my academics?

When a person gets a good night’s sleep they can consolidate and retain more information.  Getting enough sleep most nights increases energy and concentration, decreases moodiness, and strengthens the immune system.

Sleep affects my weight?

The amount of sleep we get can also affect our weight!  Studies show that people who sleep less weigh more!

College life can definitely interfere with a consistent and healthy sleep routine, but there are still ways to get the best night’s sleep that you can!
