Department Executive Assistant

Framingham State University | BA Sociology

Ines is the first contact for all of our partners including students, alumni, employers, parents, and community members visiting the Hiatt Career Center. She strives to create a welcoming environment for all, especially Brandeis students, as they begin the process of collaborating with Hiatt in building professional futures. She also provides support for career events, in-house professional development activities and new initiatives. Ines enjoys speaking with students and learning their stories and future plans, so be sure to say hello!

Previously, Ines worked in various industries, including Bose Corporation, as a senior account specialist supporting large retailers in the order to cash process as well as acting as a mentor and peer trainer. While Ines did enjoy her time at Bose, she also felt it was important to complete her education and thus made the decision to leave Bose to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree as full-time, non-traditional student. In May 2017 she completed her BA in Sociology from Framingham State University with a minor in Spanish.

When she's not at Hiatt, you can find Ines spending time with family, watching the Patriots in the fall and participating in traditional Portuguese cultural events during the summer. At any time of the year, you’ll find Ines crocheting a variety of wonders in yarn and playing with her dog, Leila.
