Students
Working for Hiatt gives you an incredible insight into the world of work and graduate schools. You will have first dibs on job and internship postings that may be of interest to you, will hear about employers coming to campus, and will have access to a wide-reaching alumni network.
Hiatt Advisors
Hiatt Advisors (HAs) play a key role in assisting the Center with campus-wide programs, promoting career development events, and serve as liaisons between students and Hiatt. HAs complement existing Hiatt services by delivering career development programs, and by serving as an initial source of support for students needing career advising. A Hiatt Advisor will also have the opportunity to explore career opportunities from an insider’s perspective and receive greater exposure to job and internship openings and graduate schools.
Recruitment starts in the Spring semester for the following academic year.
Front Desk Staff
Hiatt's Front Desk Staff plays a crucial role in day-to-day operations of the center. Student workers learn valuable reception skills by coordinating schedules of a busy office. Entering postings into our database, Front Desk workers get a first look at a wide array of jobs and internships. Students also work on special projects, such as generating reports or assisting with marketing efforts.
To become a member of the Front Desk Staff, students generally need to be Work Study approved. Please inquire about current openings by visiting our office.
